A need for speed: the 10-passenger “Pointe de la Masse” gondola lift
Since its debut in December 2021, the new LEITNER gondola lift at one of the world’s premier ski resorts has been raising the bar for speed. In a swift eight and a half minutes, the gondola whisks passengers to the “Pointe de la Masse” peak at an altitude of 2,804 meters. Notably, this makes it the first gondola in France capable of achieving a top speed of seven meters per second.
