Poma, partner of the 2023 World Championships
The upcoming 2023 World Ski Championships, set to take place in the Savoie resorts of Courchevel and Méribel, will feature Poma as a key partner.
The Isère-based cable transport group, renowned for its expertise in ski lifts and ropeways, signed the partnership agreement this week during the Mountain Planet trade show in Grenoble. Scheduled for February 6-19, 2023, the global event is one that Poma couldn’t afford to miss, especially given its longstanding association with both Courchevel and Méribel. Fabien Felli, Vice-Chairman of Poma’s Management Board,
expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating,
“As a nationally recognized manufacturer with a significant footprint in France, it was a natural fit for us to support this monumental event that celebrates both mountain culture and skiing, domestically and internationally.” Felli added, “I share the same core values, DNA, and mountain affinity with Bernard Front and Perrine Pelen, who are leading the event's organization. Such a high-profile event, rarely hosted on French soil, offers an invaluable opportunity to spotlight the skills and contributions of our French enterprises and resorts.” Fabien Felli
