Sigmacabins company
Founded in 1961, Sigma is a subsidiary of POMA, based in Veyrins-Thuellin, in the Isère region of France. The company specializes in the design, production, and renovation of aerial lift cabins and large capsules for great wheels for POMA and LEITNER.
Today, SIGMA generates most of its turnover through exports. The company is looking to further globalize by creating larger-capacity carriers. Our expertise goes beyond a standard catalog. Sigma also custom designs and builds cabins for special-use cases like funicular railways, APMs, and observation wheel capsules.
With a broad range of capabilities, Sigma has a global footprint in hundreds of resorts, from Courchevel to Aspen, as well as in urban transport and entertainment sectors in major cities like Toulouse, Lyon, Cairo, Medellin, Rio de Janeiro, London, New York, and Las Vegas.
Sigma leverages a variety of technologies, from ropeway transport cabins to custom-built carriers for special projects, such as funicular railways and large observation wheel capsules.
Over the years, the company has embraced cutting-edge materials and an ultra-modern production line to deliver highly innovative modular solutions.
